After an exciting weekend in college lacrosse during first-round play, ESPN’s exclusive coverage of the NCAA Division I Men’s lacrosse Championship continues with the quarterfinals on Saturday, May 21 (ESPNU), and Sunday, May 22 (ESPN2/ESPNU). With a win over Quinnipiac in the first round, No. 1 seed Maryland advanced to face No. 8 seed Syracuse on Saturday, May 21, at noon ET. Following that matchup, No. 5 seed Brown will take on Navy. Both games will be played at Brown Stadium in Providence, R.I. Sunday’s lineup from Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio, features No. 3 seed Notre Dame facing North Carolina, which defeated BIG EAST Champion Marquette in the first round. A showdown between two Maryland schools —No. 7 seed Loyola and Towson— will follow at 2:30 p.m. The winning teams will advance to the semifinals and national title game, which will air on ESPN2 over Memorial Day weekend. Mike Corey and Matt Ward will be on the call from Providence, R.I, and the trio of Eamon McAnaney, Quint Kessenich and Paul Carcaterra will be on site for Sunday’s games in Columbus, Ohio.
